Happy New Year this morning Brickdam Church - photos

I met my sister.  Church reminded me of mummy.  The priest used the story of Sojourner Truth - Ain't I a woman.  Not bad to start the new year.

Tomorrow I leave at 1 p.m. for Lethem.  Last year I met a Guyanese man in Lethem; he was also visiting and thinking of returning to live in the area.  We both wanted to visit Brazil.  This year we ran into each other in Barbados - small world.  So, it looks as if I'll be visiting Brazil as soon as I arrive in Lethem.

I am excited.  I never visited Bovista.  I'll be challenged by language again.  I guess it will give me some experience to use with my students.
